Prayer
I believe prayer is the single most pure and powerful connection we have with our Lord. Jesus built my personal relationship with him from a well kept New Year’s resolution 12 years ago. In January I literally closed myself off from the world in my shed for 30 minutes a day. Jesus showed up in a big way and I was never the same. For me, it is the most real part of knowing Jesus. Through our prayer together He has given me a different heart and a blessed life. I didn’t learn how to pray at church, I learned from Jesus. But just like reading the bible, you have to learn how to pray. I didn’t really; really know Jesus until I went to the shed and started writing everything down. I can’t explain how prayer connected us. But I can show you. I have 12 years of dates and documentation from the lips of our Lord. A little skeptical, well keep this in mind. Jesus didn’t teach his disciples how to preach…He taught them how to pray. Nothing is more important to me, for you than prayer.
